Have you given much thought lately to your character? Maybe you should.

I’m sure that the people you lead, work for, and work with would be able to identify your character. Furthermore, doesn’t your character inform just about everything they know about you?

So if your character is seen by all around you, doesn’t the source of your character deserve some attention?

Impactful leaders, diligent workers, and joyful friends are an ideal source of insight about where we should acquire that kind of character.

This is one of the reasons I love the DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast. Every year at this event, nationally famous business leaders who demonstrate the highest level of character share the source of that character.

At this year’s event on Friday, October 5, about 1,000 local technology professionals will meet at the Irving Convention Center to hear Cheryl Bachelder, the former CEO of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, deliver a powerful message about leadership and character. We’ll also honor three new inductees into the DFW’s premier “servant leadership” hall of fame: the Merv Tarde Values in Leadership Circle.

If you’ve not heard of the DFW Technology Prayer Breakfast, please visit our website. If you have been invited by a table host, please let that person know you plan to attend. If you are a table host, please register your guests. You can also text PRAYER to 77007 for event updates.

We hope you’ll join us this week at one of the few technology events in the Metroplex that explores the source of character. #DFWTechPB #FaithatWork
