Take Warren Buffett To Work Each Day
If Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey ( or someone else you see as very wise and capable) offered to be your pal and join you any time you wanted, for whatever meeting or task you had to get done, that would be pretty cool.
You would invite them to every meeting, every sales call, and even the car ride to work each day. You would invite them to join you for a difficult talk with your employees and family members. You ask them to read emails before you sent them and get their help to plan your budget, investments, and schedule.
What you would NOT do is jump into a meeting with angry clients and then half way through think “Oh darn, I forgot to ask Bill Gates to join me in this meeting!” , “I should have had Warren Buffett help me plan for my retirement.” , “I should have asked Oprah how to guide me as I tell me daughter she needs to move out.”
You would take them up on their offer every minute of the day – because they offered to be there for you.
So why do we so often leave GOD out the majority of our day?
God has offered to be with us 24×7 in everything we do – we just need to realize He’s there and invite Him to help us. Read this verse from the Bible:
The LORD says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation (people) that did not call on my name. Isaiah 65:1 NLT
It reminds me of picking people for your softball team and GOD is yelling “pick me, pick me!” Sadly, he is usually the last guy to be chosen for our team. Why?
- Why leave the GOD of the Universe outside your every activity?
- Why leave the King of Heavens Army at home while you fight the battle alone.
- Why leave your Heavenly Father in the car while you try to restore your relationship with a spouse?
Our GOD is an Architect, Brother, Builder, Creator, Deliverer, Dwelling Place, Father, Fortress, Friend, Healer, Help, Hope, King, Light, Refuge, Rock, Shade, Shelter, Shepherd and so much more. He has more to offer you if you are willing to invite Him in.
Ask GOD to join you today. Ask Him to attend every meeting, join you for every conversation, be with you in your car, at the gym, at the dinner table. Everywhere and for Everything.
Ask him to help you make the best decision, serve others, stick up for the little guy, love them like He does, have peace and joy despite the challenges. He is calling you today – “Here I am, here I am.!”
Then you will be truly successful in all you do. THAT will be a good day.
